Hollowed letters on two lines. The stamp is damaged on three sides, to left and right, and below. The letters are rather worn. It seems to belong to the stamp known from other examples published as CIL XV, 1 no.576b.

 : 0.014 (both lines) Early Hadrianic, AD c.117-123 (Steinby 1974-75: p.90; Setälä 1977: p.82) No provenance is recorded. It was given to Gloucester City Museum in 1910 by Welbore St. Clair Baddeley, a well-known local antiquarian (information from David Rice of Gloucester Museum) It was first loaned to the Ashmolean in 1964 (Gloucester Loan no.37), and then transferred permanently on 16th November 1967.
