                            an archaeologist and antiquarian from Swindon, who was a member of several scholarly societies, including the Wiltshire Archaeological
                            and Natural History and Prehistoric Societies and British Numismatic Society (<ref target="#phillips2004">Phillips 2004</ref>).</provenance>
