A complete circular orbicular stamp (0.085), with a large orbiculus (0.042) extending into the central section of the stamp, which is blank. Brick: 0.14+ 0.15+ 0.036

There are two lines of letters around the edge of the stamp, running in concentric circles. There is a ligature of AE at the end of line 1. Palm branches mark the start and end of the text in line 1. For other examples of the same stamp, see AN1872.1554-1556a, 1558.

Arruntia Camilla (PIR2 A1152; Raepsaet-Charlier 1987: p.119 no.103) was the long-lived daughter of L. Arruntius Camillus Scribonianus, consul in AD 32 who led an unsuccessful revolt against Claudius (Setälä 1977: pp.67-69). The brickyards, the figlinae Camillianae, later passed into imperial ownership.
